A Luxe Military Wedding at the U.S. Grant Hotel in San Diego, CA

Erin and Danny had to change their wedding date three times because of Danny’s sudden military deployments. Once they settled on a date, the couple began planning their dream wedding incorporating glamorous details among a military theme. Both the groom and his groomsmen wore their Navy uniforms and a traditional sword arch followed the ceremony. Even the couple’s reception was held at a historical site, The U.S. Grant Hotel named for General Ulysse Grant. The couple chose glass candelabras, silver table cloths, and gorgeous white hydrangeas to decorate the space. See all the photos from True Photography Weddings.

First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had
a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t
mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to
writing. I have had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out
there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 miunutes are lost
simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints?
    Thanks!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
