A Vintage Destination Wedding at The Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC

Cameo and Andrew have family all over the world so for their wedding theme, they decided to host a destination wedding in The Outer Banks at The Whalehead Club and incorporate their love of travel into all the little details. The vintage feel of their venue (which is now a historic museum) influenced their bright and pretty color palette of yellow, orange and gray details. Maps, airplanes, luggage tags and compasses gave the escort cards, programs and guest book a cohesive look and feel. See all the inspiring photos below by Genevieve Stewart Photography!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
