Another Royal Wedding — Sweden’s Princess Madeleine Is Married!

The big royal wedding news of the weekend Princess Madeleine of Sweden married New York banker Chris O’Neill in front of 470 guests this past Saturday in Stockholm, Sweden. Thousands waited outside of the Royal Chapel, waving Swedish flags in hopes of catching a glimpse of the couple. According to reports, as the beautiful Princess walked down the aisle, her groom held back tears (awww)!

Let’s talk fashion. Princess Madeleine’s sophisticated wedding gown was designed by Valentino Haute Couture. Made of silk organza and appliqued Chantilly lace, the gown featured a bateau neckline and a deep cut back  — just the right mix of modernity and regality. Echoing the long ball gown style of past royal weddings, Princess Madeleine’s train was 4 meters long (that’s 13.1 feet!). She accessorized with a 6-meter-long (19.6 feet) Chantilly lace veil and a tiara adorned with small fresh white flowers.

Congratulations to Princess Madeleine and Chris as they begin newlywed life together in New York City!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
