A Vintage Glam Wedding at Pearl Stable in San Antonio, TX

This Brooklyn-based couple settled on San Antonio as their wedding destination to incorporate the bride’s Texas roots. Since the groom’s side was from Pittsburgh they planned to create an aesthetic that reflected both their hometowns. The ceremony programs included a star for TX and a keystone for PA and the ceremony blackboard read: “A Pittsburgh boy marries a Texas Senorita.” Too cute. Even a mariachi band played polkas at the reception! Crystal wanted to share this Southwest tradition with Nelson’s family who never experienced it. I just love how this couple combined their unique styles to create a seamless vintage-glam wedding. See all the photos from Anne Marie Photography.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
