A Modern Outdoor Wedding at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, CA

A purple, magenta and white color palette is a recipe for a wedding full of contrast. This couple balanced the bold palette with modern white touches like white flower petals and beautiful calla lily and hydrangea arrangements lining the ceremony aisle to the chuppah decorated with lush flowers. For the reception, the ballroom at Pelican Hill was transformed into a dramatic setting with pink uplighting, jewel tone linens and high centerpieces, which set the tone for an enchanting night of dinner and dancing. First of all I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question which I’d like
to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to find
out how you center yourself and clear your head prior
to writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts
out there. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out
how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Kudos!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
