A Charming Campground Wedding by Chris McGuire

Rachel and Jeff met at Camp Tanuga in Kalkaska, Michigan in 1999 and, 13 years later, they exchanged vows at the same campground. It doesn’t get any cuter than that! Ivory and lavender accents, mercury glass, candles, wooden signs, and, appropriately enough, a tent enhanced the natural elements of the campground. This couple’s love story and the setting for their wedding is truly straight out of Moonrise Kingdom. And don’t worry — all the guests went home with survival kits including flash lights, a map and bug spray. Check out the photos!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
