A California Rustic Wedding from Applemoon Photography

All you need to plan a beautiful outdoor wedding with a rustic edge is a classic color palette lots of natural decor and a few surprising design elements and Taylor and Matt’s wedding is the perfect example. Silver chevron table runners added a twist to otherwise simple white tables, potted succulents doubled as escort cards, and a rustic barn draped with ivory fabric and low ambient lighting created a welcoming and visually stunning dance floor. See for yourself!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
