A Romantic Museum Photo by Asya Photography

If it hadn't been raining on their wedding day, Margorie and Justin would have never had this photo from their wedding day. Because of all the rain that day, their photographer led them to a corner gallery at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a set of incredibly romantic shots to add to their wedding... read more

Happy Saturday! You're going to love Rachel and Luke's wedding video (and photos below). My favorite part? It's a tie between Rachel's gorgeous Jenny Packham wedding gown and the utterly romantic pastel color palette. So what are you waiting for? Just watch! All photos by Clary Photo read more

A Bright Orange Lounge

It isn't just the clean lines and bright orange accents that makes this lounge stand out, but how the chic furniture contrasts with the setting of this historic venue (a winery in California). The juxtaposition of old-venue-meets-chic-decor makes this lounge all the more stunning, especially in the way that event designer Alison Hotchkiss... read more

We Hired A Photographer! (A Groom With A View)

Photo: Laura Novak PhotographyPhoto: Laura Novak Photography
Evin and I put the wedding plans and the search for a photographer on hold and went to Jamaica. While there, we made a pact to not discuss the wedding which shockingly we kept all the way until the plane ride home. Somewhere over the Atlantic ocean while Evin was asleep, I quietly removed the... read more

#FashionFriday: Wedding Gowns with Capes

Wedding Gowns Trends Capes
If you think about it, being a bride is sort of like being a superhero. You have to juggle two identities (daytime normal human being and nighttime overworked bride trying to figure out where to seat your random friend from summer camp) and you can all of a sudden perform super human feats like hot glue together 200... read more

Dramatic Red Draping

I've seen a lot of beautiful reception rooms draped in gauzy white fabric, but swap the fabric color to something darker like red, and you get an incredibly intimate and dramatic effect. Celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey took it a few steps further with flower-accented lanterns, soft lighting and textured red table linens. > Follow... read more

A Garland-Topped Tent

Garland Clear Tent
Wedding garland is one of my favorite ways to take a space from simple to over-the-top. So for serious impact, Todd Fiscus outlined the top of this clear top tent with lush green leafy garland. The look was utterly romantic -- in that secret-garden-meets-black-tie wedding kind of way. What could be more enchanting? ... read more
Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
