Announcing Capsule! A New Reason To Hashtag Your Wedding

tk_WWS_capsule_blog

Want any easy way to capture every photo taken at your wedding? Well, we just partnered with the photo sharing website and app, Capsule, so that you can now collect every photo taken by your guests into one photo album on your wedding website. Genius, right?

All you have to do is start a Capsule account and then sync it to your wedding website on TheKnot.com. Capsule will give you a special hashtag, and all of the Instagram photos taken at your wedding will instantly be added to your wedding website album. Guests without Instagram can still get in on the fun by downloading the Capsule app to their phones and taking photos using the app that way. Not only can your guests upload photos, they can also comment, share to Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter, and download photos too.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
