An Enchanted Urban Wedding in New York, NY

We just love this New York City wedding which ran in our Spring issue. Read this couple’s story and see all the details, from the dress to the decor, then shop the look below.

After nearly 10 years of on-again, off-again dating, Nicole (33, teacher) and Jordan (34, real estate developer) were ready to plan their chic city affair. Nicole had always wanted a fairy-tale wedding filled with cherry blossoms and peonies, so she made sure the couple’s wedding date coincided with the season for both blooms. Working their pink, white, silver and gray palette into every detail of the day, they created a romantic, enchantingly elegant yet modern wedding.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
