The Best of Bridal At Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013 (Trend Alert!)
The spring/summer 2013 Haute Couture shows in Paris were as trend-setting as ever this season and offered so many bridal gowns that we would have thought it was bridal fashion week. Almost every show ended with wedding worthy looks that would make any bride-to-be dream about her dress. Check these works of art out! What was your favorite show?
Feathery Details
Karl Lagerfield made quite a statement when he sent not one, but two brides down the aisle – I mean runway – during the Chanel finale. The highly embellished gowns were accessorized feather headpieces heavy feathery eye makeup. Chic or scary? Tell me below!
Fushia Lips
Dior’s spring garden motif was a collection a pastels with an occasional pop of neon. The structured jackets and corseted ball gowns were covered in floral patterns that are totally wedding worthy. And, like most recent Dior shows, a natural makeup palette is completed with a brightly colored lip. Love! Would you rock a bold lip for the wedding ?
Lace Veils
In a variety of rainbow shades, every gown that came down the runway at Elie Saab was as dreamy as ever. However, what caught our eye the most the royal ball gown at the end of the show. Topped with a luxurious over-the-head lace veil, we were absolutely swooning.

Tea-Length
Shortened lengths and narrow waists at Giambattista Valli offered a sexy take on tea-length dresses. What stole the show? Jeweled headpieces and floral belts by Rome designer Luigi Scialanga.
Sheer Necklines
Valentino’s elaborate collection was anything but ordinary. We love this Audrey Hepburn-inspired short dress for it’s intricate detail and texture, sheer neckline and long sleeves. Sexy and sweet don’t you think?
Neck Details
The final look at Zurad Murad was breath-taking (as you can see). This glittery wedding gown was such a show stopper! A soft floral crown and veil was the perfect combination for this model bride. The new take on all-over lace? Shimmer and sheer.
