Inspiration of the Day: Cotton-Candy Lollipops

Late-night snacks (think brick-oven pizza food trucks or an ice cream sundae bar) are a must-have to keep the party going all night long, and Lynn Easton founder of Easton Events, is a big believer in them. So for a photo shoot in our magazine (see all the photos here), Lynn worked with Peter Callahan Catering to design these adorable mini-cotton candy sticks — proving that a carnival theme doesn’t have to look cheesy. “While delicate and beautiful, they are also whimsical and fun for the guests to enjoy,” says Lynn Easton, founder of Easton Events.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
