Our Dream Wedding Performers

Music fans are excited for tonight’s 12.12.12 Concert for Sandy Relief and some are calling it the greatest lineup of all time. Some of the performers include Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bon Jovi, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Kanye West, Alicia Keys and the Who.

In honor of this historic event, we put together a list of performers we can only dream of performing at our weddings!

Michael Buble

With a voice like Sinatra and his dreamy stage presence -- I don’t know if there is a better performer for a wedding. It was a tough choice between Michael Buble and Bon Jovi, but Michael Buble prevailed!

Bruno Mars

Amanda Black would love to have Bruno Mars perform and adds, “If his "Locked Out of Heaven" performance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show did nothing for you, you may have no heart. *swoon*”

Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald

Simone Hill would resurrect Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald because, “These women had beautiful voices and sang some classic and beautiful love songs, but also upbeat and danceable jazz hits that everyone can appreciate. Plus, I’d definitely want to incorporate a vintage vibe with the glamour of the Harlem Renaissance into my wedding so these late greats would set the mood perfectly.”

The Temptations

Heather Hall would want The Temptations to perform because, “I love them and who doesn’t love their song 'My Girl'?”
5 of 7

John Legend

Jamie Miles dreams of John Legend because he “is one of my all-time favorite performers. Put a baby grand on stage and he’ll keep you entertained all night. My only demands: he has to play Save Room and Ordinary People!”

Blake Shelton

Sara Velazquez, our lovely intern, dreams of Blake Shelton because, “I’m a country girl at heart and he seems like a big teddy bear. His charm would bring tears to all my guest’s eyes.”

Al Green

Lili Salzberg dreams of Al Green performing because, “Ever since I was little, I have loved the song “Let’s Stay Together.” In a dream world, Al Green would perform the ceremony, and the first dance song!”

We are interested in hearing who our brides-to-be dream about having show up and perform at their weddings.  Let us know below!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
