Sophisticated Mother of the Bride and (Colorful!) Flower Girl Dresses from La Femme and Love Jay Girls

Bridal fashion week is always chock-full of beautiful bridal gowns and stunning accessories for the bride and maids alike. But what about everyone else? When we saw Love Jay Girls‘s new line, our first thought was: Flower girl dresses have never been so fun! Infused with color, the little gowns are sure to please even your smallest and most discerning of wedding guests. Made with layers and layers of fabric, the dresses in their line this season had an ombre effect by layering different colors of fabric (it also gave the dresses some great texture and bounce!).

For moms, La Femme introduced their sexy line of mother of the bride gowns. While they haven’t quite come up with an appropriate name for it yet (Panther by La Femme and Puma by La Femme were thrown around jokingly), one thing is clear from this sexy line: Say “so long” to frumpy mom’s dresses and say “hello” to curve-hugging and figure-flattering silhouettes that not only highlight mom’s body, but also cover her up (we love the little bolero on the blue dress, it’s detachable!).

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
