6 “Badass” Wedding Gown Predictions for Avril Lavigne

Our favorite Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne was a classic Cinderella for her first wedding. But for this next trip down the aisle, she recently promised a “badass” dress that she will design herself or collaborate on when marrying Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger. Can’t wait to see!

The Black & White Subtle Punk

Don't let the swiss dot fool you. This sweet style, has some major punk potential for Ms. Lavigne. The tiers and black and white horizontal detailing are unique and non-traditional.

Goddess, Rocker Chic

We think she would look great in a drapey, cut-out gown like this Temperley London gown. A casual elegance would be unexpected, but welcomed.

Oxblood Princess

Of course we threw in some Vera options. This deep red hue was recently seen all over the runways of New York Fashion Week. I think this has her name all over it! It's a bit more wild than her first custom Vera Wang...

The White Wedding Gown

To much of everyone's surprise, the sk8er girl first wed Sum41front man Deryck Whibley in 2006 in a super traditional custom Vera Wang dress with scalloped edges and a pretty sash around her waist.

A Funky Tea Length

Tea length gowns have become increasingly popular. We could also see Avril in a flirty organza hankerchief dress with an asymmetrical hemline like this one. It's princess-like and it would easy to dance in!

Romantic Black Lace Dress

If Avril wanted to stick with a classic strapless A-line, this beautiful black lace gown just might be the one.

I like that it is not huge and overpowering on the bride. It’s gorgeous and at the same time let the bride be the center of attention. Nice.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
