My Bohemian Engagement Pictures (Fashionista Bride)

Ben and I have zero experience behind the camera, but we immediately felt at ease with our wedding photographers Shannon and Andrew Horton of  Fox & Owl photography. I made the flower crown myself and I absolutely love the way our engagement photos turned out! (Check out the rest of my photos on my blog Ruffled Romance.)

My Flower Crown!

I have been obsessed with flower crowns and know that I wanted to incorporate one in my engagement pictures. I made this beautiful one myself from flowers in my neighbors yard and was impressed with the outcome. Be on the lookout for an upcoming post on how to create your own bohemian flower crown.

My Engagement Ring!

I am so in love with my emerald cut diamond and often find myself just staring at it. The dainty band is the perfect complement to the beautiful diamond; my fiance is a rockstar!

Sunny Fields

The spot we chose for our engagement pictures couldn't have been more perfect. It was nestled among the mountains and filled with fields of tall heather.

Wardrobe Change!

The perfect coral dress from Free People. I love the crochet fabric and the way the dress popped against the blue sky. Ben looks so handsome in this great find from Urban Outfitters. He is such a hipster!

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
