Sophia Vergara Is Getting Married, But What Will She Wear?

The Modern Family actress celebrated both her 40th birthday and engagement to 2-year BF, Nick Loeb, this past weekend. While visiting some Mayan ruins in Mexico it is reported Loeb popped the question near the resort in which they were staying.

On to the dress! The question we have is, what is she going to wear? Here at The Knot, we have picked out a few favorites that we think would be a good fit.

Congratulations Sophia & Nick!

Ines Di Santo

Maybe a sultry Ines Di Santo gown. We love this sleek, off-the shoulder wedding dress for a gal like Sophia, with curves in all the right places. A sexy slit can show some leg and a fabulous pair of shoes.

Mark Zunino

A drapey Mark Zunino would be perfect. This cowl neck halter gown has just enough coverage to be sexy and sophisticated. The shimmer is beautiful too!

A silver-shaded fit-and-flare, like this one from Pronovias, would be stunning on Sophia. This gown has an all-over beaded design and illusion neckline.

Blush by JLM

How about a lace option with a deep V neckline, and side slit? We think this would be a beautiful gown for Sophia's complexion, and perfect for a beach wedding in Mexico.

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
