It’s Beatles Day! The mop-top legacy lives on, with fans around the world celebrating a major landmark in The Fab Four’s rise to icon status. On this day in 1964, John, Paul, George and Ringo returned home to Liverpool after wrapping up a hugely successful U.S. tour. The group was also just moments away from premiering their much-anticipated film, A Hard Days Night.
