Donatella Versace paid tribute to her late brother, Gianni Versace, with her collection at the Hotel Ritz. It was her first time returning to the house's original stomping grounds since 1997. Monday night in paris was the debut of new designer Raf Simons, for Christian Dior (only the fifth designer since the company's birth in 1946). The highly anticipated collection that modernized on the New Look's cinched waist was a hit! The "flower woman" silhouette was respected, and not forgotten. Karl Lagerfeld took his theme of "New Vintage" to an entirely new level. Mademoiselle Coco's love of a tweed suite and elegant styling was brought back to life with tulle and metallics, and minimal risks in silhouette.
