Operation Military Dream Dress: Brides Across America

Bridal Reflections (premier bridal salon here in NYC) has partnered with Brides Across America to donate FREE gowns to military brides. This special event begins on Monday, June 25, in honor of Independence Day right around the corner.
Salons from multiple states across the country have joined to help create dreams come true for our troops. Go to BridesAcrossAmerica.com for a complete listing to find a salon near you, and help spread the word!
In order to for a bride to qualify, they must be engaged, be on active duty in the military, or have a fiancé on active duty in either Iraq or Afghanistan. All brides must show ID, copy of deployment papers, and order or other qualifying proof.
Each participating store will prepare a select number of gowns to give away. They may range from $500-$3,000 and will consist primarily of samples and overstock in sizes 4-22.
The gowns will be given away on a first-come, first serve basis.
A big thank you to our troops, and congratulations to all of our military brides!

um… my man is deployed in the middle east, but not those two places. Just because he isn’t in the two most talked about places doesn’t mean he isn’t in danger. This isn’t exactly fair to the women who are having to deal with their significant other being deployed, but isn’t in Afghanistan or Iraq
Kayla, please contact Brides Across America. My future husband is actually in submarines and is deployed in other places as well and they said it’s not a problem, you just need to get documents that prove that
Kayla, you should message the organization itself or find them on FB. Also, I don’t think they are able to give away gowns to every bride who has a fiance deployed to every place imaginable.
I would like to add that I really do appreciate this organization. I found the gown of my dress last year with Brides Across America and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you again!
My husband and I got married February 22, 2011. We really weren’t able to have a wedding because he was deploying shortly after! June 3, 2011 my husband got medivacd out of Afghanistan do its been a struggle. We just learned when we get to our new duty station he will be deploying again. He still struggles with his injuries but he’s a soldier so he’s ready for another tour! We can’t really afford a dress so I was wondering if you help in a situation like this?
