The Devil Wears Prada Sequel Goes Bridal

Guilty pleasure alert: Almost a decade after the release of her 2003 smash hit The Devil Wears Prada, chick-lit author Laurie Weisberger is bringing “the clackers” back with a much-anticipated sequel, set to be released in 2013.

Entertainment Weekly exclusively reports that Weisberger is currently working on Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns — and here’s the best part: the story follows main character Andy Sachs as she edits a bridal magazine (!!!) while planning her own wedding to a handsome media scion. It’s still unclear how ice-cold editrix Miranda Priestly will be involved in this one, but judging from the title, we’re almost certain she’ll be plotting the ways to sabotage Andy’s big day.

You can bet we’ll be first in line to snag a copy — and the first ones to let you know if the story rings true.

Noo! That will ruin the original! It ended on a bittersweet note, with Miranda realizing her own life failings and respecting Andy for making the tough choice to get away from that. There isn’t supposed to be any resentment or revenge plots! Oh sad day…. Hollywood, why can’t you just leave well enough alone, huh?

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
