Topshop Announces Bridal Line by Richard Nicoll

This just in: Topshop is the latest retailer to announce its foray into bridal — the high-street hotspot’s wedding collection, designed by British designer Richard Nicoll, is set to hit stores this June.

While photos have yet to be released, Vogue UK reports the collection will reflect Nicoll’s signature “sculptural shapes and feminine fabrics,” and is expected to be a “modern alternative to meringue culture.”

We’re not exactly sure what “meringue culture” means, but judging from Nicoll’s edgy designs and Topshop’s trendy urban look, we can predict this won’t be a frou-frou show of conventional ballgowns.

What do you think of Topshop’s jump into bridal? Would you wear their dresses?

Escort cards are extremely easy to personalize and an excellent way to bring in your wedding day colors -- from calligraphed seating cards set atop a textured linen to apples tagged with each guest's name or small personalized bundles of lavender tied off with string. Other ways to display escort cards: Pin them to a clothesline, post them on a board covered in color-coordinated ribbon, or incorporate them into your cocktail hour using personalized stirrers tagged with guests' names.
